ABOUT MASTAMOVEMENT.COM
After listening to
Buffalo Gals by Malcolm McLaren and
Play That Beat Mr. DJ by Globe & Whiz Kid, i started scratching.
It was 1982 or 1983. Like 4 years later i met Laquatal and we start making beats. We called ourselves Two Outta Millions. First we sampled with a
Casio SK-1 and recorded (dubbed!) with
two old Akai cassettedecks. Later on we used an Amiga 500+. You'll find tracks on my
Youtube-channel.
We did lots of gigs all over the country and we even had some dancers and a second dj for a while by the name of DJ Away. In 1992 i had enough of hiphop (at that moment) and DJ Mass was my follow up.
BUT.. i never stopped making beats and dj-tracks. In 2007 Laquatal and i get together to make new tracks (and remakes of old ones) for our
reunion in
Odeon Zwolle.
Right now i'm working hard on tracks for the new album of
Marshal Blueberry; you can get a promo cd with a remix i did for by emailing the
Marshall.
More on that soon!
